he landscapes of rivers, lagoons and mountains are portrayed in the works of Yender Rozo (above) and Yovanny Ros Peneranda.

Peneranda concentrates on the topography of the rugged Andes Mountain Region in north Colombia between the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean.

Still life created from the vast variety of tropical fruit, oranges, mandarins, apples, pears and flowers are delicately displayed in the work of Aminta Diaz and other artists such as Eliberto Diaz, Jorge Marin, and Martha Varela.

The Colombian style is used in the brushwork of Luz Marina Cepeda, below, and Irma Fernandez to depict the principle industry of Colombia’s agriculture and crafts. Scenes include depictions of the long days of the pickers of coffee beans, the basket weavers at their flower shops and farmers tending and transporting their crops.
